Peter Yeager
Peter brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this firm. Prior to joining Black, Chapman, Webber & Stevens, he worked as an associate editor for a legal publishing company, as an investigator for the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission, and as a municipal zoning and planning officer in Vermont. He was admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Vermont, where he handled personal injury and Social Security disability cases, among others. Today, he is primarily responsible for researching and writing appeals briefs in Workers' Compensation and Social Security disability cases. He served as a Personal Injury Specialist for two years before assuming his present duties, which include initial client contact and interviewing, as well as research assistance with personal injury cases. In his "spare time" he edits our respected MEDICAL-LEGAL JOURNAL, published quarterly since 1996. Peter is a proud father of two.


Marla Uhles
As Office Administrator, Marla keeps everything running and makes sure that our entire team is ready to meet the most demanding challenges of our clients. Born in Medford and raised in Alturas, California, Marla attend Oregon College of Business. She has been with the firm since 1990, and is a wife and mother of one son. muhles@blackchapman.com

Amy Dillon
Born in Long Beach, California, then moved to Medford and graduated from North Medford.  She joined our firm in 2006.  She is married and has three daughters.

WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND SOCIAL SECURITY


Teresa Richey
This highly specialized legal assistant knows the workers' compensation system inside and out. Teresa has been with our firm since August 1989. She has 4 1/2 years work experience at SAIF Corporation, and is a certified claims examiner with the State of Oregon. A 1985 graduate of Phoenix High School, she and her husband have three children.

Donette Crawford
This legal assistant has an impressive background in workers' compensation with Black Chapman, Webber & Stevens since 1989. A graduate of Medford Senior High, Donette and her husband have three children.

Stephanie Sullivan
Born and raised in Southern California prior to moving to the Rogue Valley in 2005. Stephanie joined the firm in May 2006. She is married.

June Rich
Another specialist joined the firm in 1990 to focus on the Social Security System. June has worked on literally hundreds of cases. She is a graduate of Southern Oregon University and has a husband, two children, and two grandchildren.

Mary Ann Beam
This Trend College graduate has brought her skills as a legal secretary to the Social Security department since 1991. She is married with four children and four grandchildren.

Leslie Kolkemo
Leslie is a 2001 graduate of North Medford High School. She has graduated with a B.A. in Photojournalism from Southern Oregon University.  She is married.

PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS


Wendy Burke
A cum laude graduate of the University of Southern Maine, this personal injury specialist has a paralegal certification and previous experience as a claims adjuster for State Farm Insurance. She is married and has one child.

Erica Meager
A Minnesota native, this personal injury specialist moved to the Rogue Valley in  2000 and joined the firm that same year.  She is married and has a  daughter.


Katrina Moore
This Medford native graduated at the top of her class, and joined the firm in 1993. She has helped hundreds of clients understanding the issues involved in their case. She and her husband live in Central Point and have one child

Bonnie Parr
Born and raised in the Bay Area. She moved to the Rogue Valley in 1972. Attended University of California, Davis and Southern Oregon University in Ashland, majoring in Psychology/Sociology. She worked as a legal assistant in Eugene for 3+ years until she returned home to the Rogue Valley. She is the proud mother of four children and many grandchildren!

Marie A. Bachelét
Born and raised in California, Marie moved to Oregon in 1979.  She has been a legal assistant for 30 years.  She joined our firm in February 2008.  She is single and has two grown children and two grandchildren

Davina Wilkinson
Davina was born in Bellflower, California and moved to Oregon in 1982. In 1994, she graduated youngest in her class (16) from North Medford High School. She brings 5+ years experience as a legal and trial assistant as well as investigator. She is married and has two sons.She joined the firm in July of 2007.

Megan Burroughs
She is a 2006 graduate of Crater High School and  joined the firm in February 2007.  She currently is attending Rogue Community College and majoring in business.

Rebecca Betts
Raised for the most part in Yreka, California, she graduated from Rio Linda High School in Sacramento in 2001.  She attended Sierra College prior to moving to Medford.  She joined the firm in February 2007.  She and her husband live in Medford.

Susan Johnston
A Medford native who graduated from Medford Senior High in 1980, and joined the firm in 2005.  She is married and has two step-children and two granddaughters.
